Our Advantages
1-on-1 Personalized Treatment
You will receive a full individualized treatment each visit performed by a licensed physical therapist. You will have 45 minutes to an hour with your physical therapist. You will never be treated by a rehab aid or assistant

Dr. Myro Hernandez Torres, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
I graduated with my doctorate in physical from University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA in August 2022. I grew up in Fresno, CA where I got my bachelors degree from Fresno State in Kinesiology exercise science. I specialize in hand therapy and movement science. My passion for physical therapy came following an injury to my own hand.
Dr. Jeremy Brown, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Jeremy graduated from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA. He grew up in Colorado, giving him a love for the outdoors and spending time in nature. He has a passion to prevent and rehabilitate athletic and orthopedic injuries to allow his patients to stay on the field and perform at their greatest potential. He also enjoys helping all his patients return to the activities they love no matter what level that might be. In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, yoga, hiking, surfing, and anything that keeps his body moving and feeling healthy.

Cristian, hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, ventured to the United States in 2017 following the conclusion of his career as a professional soccer player. Upon arrival, he initially pursued studies in biology, intrigued by the natural sciences. However, drawn by his experiences in the soccer industry and eager to explore new avenues, Cristian shifted his focus to business administration. His time on the soccer field provided him with valuable insights into marketing dynamics, and now, with a keen interest in business, Cristian is poised to leverage his diverse background and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the corporate world.

I graduated from New York Medical College with Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2009. I spent seven years in the field before feeling completely burnt out and deciding to leave to pursue my passion of health, wellness & essential oils. I recently came back to treating patients because of this new model of one on one care we focus our practice on.

Physical Therapist
I graduated from CSU Fresno's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in December 2015 and opened Advanced Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2022 with my wife and business partner, Jen. In 2022 we moved from our cozy location to our current 1600 square foot office in Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley.
